The Wooden Spoon Award

The Rules:

All riders who have paid the entry fee are eligable for the Spoon. If you pay the entry fee and your bike doesn't start then you will be still be in the running to receive the award.

Spoon is to be worn around the neck (not carried) and displayed at all times at moto cross meetings by worst shag racer of the previous meeting. The spoon holders must show off the award during the drive home, any practice sessions, the drive to the next meeting and all through the day until the new results are calculated.

Spoon is to be presented by current holder to new holder as soon as days results are confirmed. i.e at the end of the last race.

Spoon may only be taken off for racing no more than 10 minutes before and should be reworn within 5 minutes of race finishing.

'Worst racer' will be the worst placed rider. As we are all in Novice A this makes the working out of points easier.

Loss, mis-use and any damage to the spoon will result in a fine of a create of Stella for the next BBQ.

On this page we will record the Spoon holders name for all to see.
