Darren was left on the start line on his own after stalling the bike trying to get off the line with Chris Neale. After finding neutral and then restarting the track was clear. (Not quite as clear as it was when Martin Neale finally got going but clear none the less).
Darren felt like he rode well but his lack of talent showed everytime he hit the deck.
On lap 13 Darren fell off and struggled to hold the bike upright and start it through absolute fatigue and then on lap 14 witnessed a massive crash. A rider on his CCM had the mother of all head shakes and was launched off the bike into the dirt. When the ambulance arrived Darren rode to the finishing line.
