Somerset Road Club Spring Circuit Races 2 - 16/04/2011

On a lovely spring day Darren raced at Ilton, Merryfield Airfield.  In try 4ths fashion it ended in a bunch sprint although Darren did get a rush of blood to the head and was in a 2 man 'break-away' on the last lap which got pulled back in rather quick

"I was watching the 3 riders from Primal Europe and when one of them upped the pace I went with him.  When I looked back and we were 25-30 metres out the front I was just hoping the rider I was with could take me the whole lap!  I took the lead but soon realised this was going nowhere so eased the pace and joined the pack." said Darren

After another break solo rider away was caught on the last lap it was down to a bunch sprint with the line being a long way down the home straight.
