The Tour Of Britain will start its 6th stage from Frome, Somerset, at 10:15 on Frome 17th September 2009.  The stage is 183.7km long and finishes in Bideford.

With 7 weeks to go in the Somer Valley 10mile Time Trial Improvers cup Darren is currently 2nd.  After leading the competition for several weeks Darren has been relegated to 2nd place by Ray Walker.  (Competition points needs verifying).

The 10 mile time trial start at Jen's Cafe layby at 1900 on Tuesday evenings and cost £2.

Great conditions met the 120 riders entered in the Bath CC open 10TT event on the super fast 'U47' course near Cirencester.
Shagracing rider Keith Penny, came away in 62nd place after a slightly disappointing ride.  Keith said after "I matched my previous PB. 22.34 which included stopping briefly to fix my speed sensor - which got caught in the front wheel.  This may have cost me 5 seconds - but then - like Lance says - every second counts!!"
